MIRACLE WITHIN
"For your formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Psalm 139:13-14a
Dear Friend,
An incredibly miraculous event is taking place inside you. God is creating a human being.
In the first month of life your little one grows to the size of an apple seed. This is 10,000 times larger than he (she) was at conception. Though so tiny, his heart beats and pumps blood through his veins.
By the end of your second month of pregnancy, your child looks like a baby. He swims, sucks his thumb, and opens and closes his hands. His brainwaves and heartbeat can be detected with sophisticated equipment. All of his body parts are present now. In the next months, he will grow only in size and in the refinement of his working parts.
At three months your baby is more than two inches long and weighs about one ounce. Fingerprints, your child's legal identification, have formed on his tiny hands. Baby's eyelids are as think as butterfly wings.
What a wondrous thought! What a delicate process! God is weaving within you your child's inmost being. Your little one is no accident. He is the creation of the Ultimate Power in the universe.
