The bedrock of the Center movement is the Word of God.
We read it for inspiration, instruction, wisdom, and comfort. In our media-crazed world, the Word is ever available to strengthen us each time we read its pages and ruminate on its principles.
Pastor David O'Leary gives us "Verses to Lean On" in this issue. It's an article you may want to photocopy (go ahead, you have our permission) and distribute to your staff. Allow God's Word to permeate your mind and heart. You'll find that it refreshes and helps continually.
Another focus in this issue is computer technology. In three articles we talk about using software and the Internet to minister to, communicate with, and train new moms in skills they will need to get along in today's world.
Much of the work done in centers is performed by volunteers. In the article about volunteer appreciation, you will find some great ideas for letting volunteers know how much you value them and their efforts. And there also is good material about volunteer training, abstinence programs, ultrasound examinations, and Choose Life license plates.
As always, we welcome your comments about how we can better help you and your ministry. E-mail us at contact@rightideas.us. Also, while you're online check out www.atcmag.com, where we feature all the articles we've had in all the issues of At the Center. There is a fantastic search engine built into the site. Type in any topic for which you want more information and see what happens. It's quick and complete.
May God bless you as you seek to serve Him.
