We've all heard the stories of the plumber whose pipes leak, the electrician who never has time to fix his own faulty wiring, and the mechanic whose car continually breaks down. Perhaps it is true that some folks don't give proper attention to personal matters in which they have expertise, or perhaps we simply expect more from them.
Working with the broken, the hurting, and the abortion-vulnerable also takes a special kind of person with a unique skill set. As I've traveled the country and met hundreds of folks working in CPC/PCC ministries, I have found them to be passionate about what they do, focused on their desire to help others, and resolute in their defense of human life. But occasionally they are unaware of what is happening in their own homes. They assume that their children share their understanding and ideals concerning sexual purity and the sanctity of life. Sometimes that assumption is wrong.
In this issue we give special attention to the children of CPC/PCC workers. We also shed light on the long-term effects of sexual sin. We hope you find this issue of your magazine enlightening and practical. Please let us know. Remember, ATC is tailored to meet the needs of your center's staff, board, and volunteers. We want them all to benefit from each issue.
